Threading Net Wrap and Routing Through Rolls
CAUTION:
Avoid injury from net wrap system cycling and entanglement in moving rolls. Disengage PTO, shut off tractor engine and disconnect monitor-controller power plug from tractor convenience outlet before servicing.
1.
Open net wrap cover.
2.
Rotate brackets (A) outward to hold net wrap roll.

3.
Pull lever (A) out and forward to disengage roller brake pad (B).

4.
Remove ALL packaging material (staples, tapes, etc.) from net wrap roll before installing.
5.
Lay net wrap roll on brackets so material will be pulled from the top of the roll (illustrated).

6.
Gather the loose end of net wrap together and pull from the top of the roll and over center of steel roller (A).
7.
Wrap material around steel roll. Feed material up between steel and rubber rolls by rotating rubber rolls. Pull loose end rearward to remove slack.
8.
Lift net wrap roll from loading brackets onto support brackets. (Roll can be lifted one end at time.)

9.
Rotate loading brackets (A) inward.
10.
Pull free end of net material to remove slack.

11.
Fold net wrap material back on itself to form a loop.
IMPORTANT:
Do not thread more than 25 mm (1 in.) of loop between the two rolls or it may cause material to wrap around the rolls.
NOTE:
If net wrap is not being pulled off the front face of roll, the net roll has been installed backwards. (Refer to step 1 for correct installation.)
12.
Thread loop of net wrap between steel rod and top rubber roll. Rotate rolls slightly to feed wrap material between rubber rolls.

IMPORTANT:
Avoid knife contact with rubber rolls. Any knife cuts in the rubber roll covering may result in more frequent wrapping around the rollers and may require roller replacement.
13.
Cut off loose end of net wrap as illustrated.

14.
Pull lever (A) out and toward the rear of the machine. Make sure brake pad (B) contacts belt pulley.
15.
Close net wrap cover.
