Replacing Chain Idler Bushing

When the chain sidebars have worn bushing (A) 6-7 mm (0.236-0.276 in.) deep, remove cap screw (B) and rotate bushing. Install cap screw (B).

When both sides of bushing are worn:

1. Remove cap screw (C) and washer.

2. Remove cylinder and washer from pin.

3. Remove cap screw (B) and bushing (A).

4. Install new bushing and fasten with M10 x 25 mm cap screw.

5. Install washer and cylinder onto pin.

6. Install cap screw (C) and washer. Tighten to specifications.

Cap Screw -Torque 140 N·m (105 lb-ft)
