Delivery

The following checklist is a reminder of very important information which should be conveyed to the customer at the time the machine is delivered. Check off each item as it is fully explained to the customer.

[ ] John Deere warranty.

[ ] Safe and correct operation and service.

[ ] Demonstrate the operation and features of the windrower.

[ ] Daily and periodic inspections.

[ ] Servicing machine regularly and correctly.

[ ] Advise customer that the life expectancy of the windrower, like any other machine, is dependent upon regular lubrication and maintenance as described in the operator's manual.

[ ] Advise customer to check wheel lug nuts after one hour of operation.

[ ] Advise customer of optional attachments that are available for specific crop and operating conditions.

[ ] Advise customer of safety precautions that must be observed while using this machine.

[ ] Recommended transporting information. (See Transporting Windrower section.)

[ ] When windrower is transported on a road or highway, lights and devices should be used for

adequate warning to operators of other vehicles. In this regard, tell customers to check local governmental regulations.

[ ] Review all special operating conditions. (See Operating Windrower section.)

[ ] Make customer aware of all optional equipment offered for this machine. (See Attachments section.)

[ ] Review recommended lubricants, service intervals and lubrication points. (See Lubrication and Maintenance section.)

[ ] Correct fuel and lubricants.

[ ] Review all adjustments.

[ ] Recommended machine storage. (See Storage section.)

[ ] Have customer record machine serial number in the Specifications section.

[ ] John Deere parts and service.

[ ] Remove and file this page.

[ ] Give the Operator's Manual to the customer and encourage customer to read entire manual.
