NOTE:
The hydrostatic ground drive lever must be at rest to the left in the neutral position. This will engage the neutral switch (B), allowing the unit to start.

Hydrostatic drive control (A) in neutral position.
NOTE:
The steering, when returned to center, is locked and the parking brake is applied anytime the drive lever is at rest in the neutral position.
Moving the drive lever to the right, still in neutral position, will release the steering and brakes. Turning the steering wheel at this time will cause the windrower to pivot between the drive wheels. Moving the drive lever forward while turning, will increase the turning radius.

Start engine. (See STARTING THE ENGINE in the Operating the Engine section.)

Press the display select (F) and hold until indicator arrow is pointing to the upper display (D).

Press ground speed function (C) moving function display indicator (E) into upper left-hand corner. The windrower ground speed will be displayed in the upper display (D). (See OPERATING THE DUAL DIGITAL DISPLAY in Operator's Station section.)
