Parking Windrower
IMPORTANT:
To prevent damage to the linkage and controls, do not force the hydrostatic drive lever or steering wheel while in the locked position.
Steering Wheel
The steering wheel (A) will return to center when released.
It is locked in this position whenever the hydrostatic drive lever (B) is in neutral position or the engine is turned off.
The steering wheel must be locked in this position to start the windrower. If not, make sure the hydrostatic drive lever is in neutral. Gently move the steering wheel from side to side to engage the lock.
Hydrostatic Drive Control Lever
The hydrostatic drive control lever (B) is locked in the neutral position whenever the engine is off.
The hydrostatic drive control lever must be locked in neutral to start the engine. If not in neutral, gently move the lever to the neutral position.
Parking Brakes
The park brakes (C) are applied when:
-
Windrower is turned off
-
There is a drop in hydraulic fluid or pressure
-
The hydrostatic drive control lever is in neutral
When the windrower is started and the hydrostatic drive control lever is moved out of neutral, hydraulic pressure releases the parking brakes.
