Filling Fuel Tank

CAUTION: Handle fuel with care: It is highly flammable. Do not refuel the machine while smoking or when near open flame or sparks.

Always stop engine before refueling machine. Fill fuel tank outdoors.

Prevent fires by keeping machine clean of accumulated trash, grease, and debris. Always clean up spilled fuel.

Do Not overfill fuel tank. Fill fuel tank within 25 mm (1 in.) from top of fuel tank. Bodily injury can result from fuel splash back. Leakage can result from expansion of fuel. If the tank is filled too full, then left in direct sunlight or if temperature gets too hot, the tank will overflow.

IMPORTANT: If a new filler cap is required, always replace it with a new non-vented cap

The fuel tank is vented through a fuel tank vent filter located on the upper right-hand corner of the fuel tank.

Fill fuel tank at end of each day. This prevents condensation in tank as moist air cools.
