Changing Engine Oil

IMPORTANT: Change engine oil at recommended intervals. See Lubrication and Maintenance section.

Remove the oil drain plug (A) in the front most left-hand corner of the oil pan to drain the engine oil and dispose of properly.

IMPORTANT: Do not overtighten drain plug. Tighten drain plug until it is snug against the oil pan.

After oil has drained from engine, clean and install drain plug.

IMPORTANT: Do not overfill engine crankcase. Engine oil capacity is 12.3 L (13 US qts).

Add oil to engine and check oil level. (See CHECKING OIL LEVEL AND ADDING OIL in this section.)
