Cleaning Air Precleaner
NOTE:
Air precleaner (A) should be cleaned at least once a day or more often if conditions make it necessary.
The precleaner (A) causes intake air to swirl in a cyclonic motion, causing the larger particles to accumulate in the neck (B).
NOTE:
The rubber flap (C) may be removed to facilitate cleaning. Do not operate engine with rubber flap removed.
1.
Remove debris from precleaner by squeezing the edges of the rubber flap (C), causing the flap to open.
2.
With the flap open, tap on the side of the neck.
