NOTE: If John Deere prediluted antifreeze/summer coolant is used, the flushing interval may be extended to 3000 hrs. or 36 mos., whichever comes first.

Every other season or 2000 hours flush cooling system.

CAUTION: Explosive release of coolant from pressurized cooling system can cause serious burns.

Shut off engine. Only remove filler cap when cool enough to touch with bare hands. Slowly loosen cap to first stop to relieve any pressure before removing completely.

1. Remove fill cap (A). Turn heater valve on.

2. Open radiator drain (B) and engine drain (C).

3. Remove fill cap (A) and overflow hose (B) on recovery tank and drain tank.

4. When system has drained, close drains and install hose on recovery tank.

5. Fill system with a solution of clean water and John Deere Cooling System Flush.

6. Run engine until it reaches operating temperature with heater on.

IMPORTANT: Make sure engine reaches operating temperature before shutting off engine and draining system. If engine does not reach operating temperature, the system will not flush properly.

7. Stop engine and drain cooling system cleaner and water out.

8. Close drains and fill system with clean water.

9. Run engine until it reaches operating temperature with heater on.

10. Stop engine and drain water out before rust and sediment settles.

11. Fill system, with the specified coolant with coolant conditioner.

12. Turn on heater and run engine for several minutes with filler cap (A) off. Stop engine and add coolant as needed to bottom of radiator fill neck. Install fill cap.

13. Add coolant to recovery tank as needed.

14. Check drain cocks for leaks.
