Adjusting Rockshaft Rate-of-Drop

causym CAUTION: Excessive rate-of-drop may cause damage or injury. Fully lowering the implement should require at least 2 seconds.

Rockshaft drops faster when a heavy implement is attached. Adjust rate-of-drop so that it is slow enough to be safe and prevent implement damage.

Turn rockshaft rate-of-drop adjusting knob (A) clockwise to slow down rockshaft drop. Full turned position corresponds to lock of rockshaft (for example for Transport). Turn counterclockwise to increase rate-of-drop.

Adjusting Rockshaft Sensitivity / Response Speed

Turn rockshaft sensitivity adjusting knob (B) clockwise to increase the sensitivity of rockshaft. Turn counterclockwise to reduce sensitivity.

This adjusting is in addition to the different positioning of center link (see positioning center link in this Section).

In some specific cases the high sensitivity of the rockshaft may involve vibrations.

To eliminate vibrations, turn progressively counterclockwise knob (B).
