Locating Fuses

IMPORTANT: DO NOT replace original fuse with higher rated fuse or machine damage may occur. If original size fuse will not carry electrical load and continues to blow, have the electrical system checked by your John Deere dealer.

All electrical circuits are protected by fuses. Amperage rating is marked on each fuse.


1 - 15 amp. - Hazard warning light switch (+30), turn signal and beacon light switch
2 - 25 amp. - 3 terminal socket
3 - 10 amp. - L.H. front clearance light; tail light R.H., work light, 7 terminal socket, number plate light
4 - 10 amp. - R.H. front clearance light; tail light L.H., 7 Terminal socket, clearance light indicator control
5 - 15 amp. - Stop light switches
6 - 15 amp. - Front wheel drive switch, relay 1, solenoid valve for hydr. Hi-Lo, oil flow priority switch, relay trailer brake valve (option), pressure switch trailer brake valve (option), relay 3
7 - 10 amp. - Horn
8 - 10 amp. - Low beam R.H. and L.H.
9 - 15 amp. - Hazard warning light switch (+15)
10 - 10 amp. - Instrument panel, speed sensor, PTO switch, engine stop solenoid, alternator pick-up
11 - 7.5 amp. - Power supply to seat compressor (option)
12 - 15 amp. - High beams, L.H. - R.H. side

A 50 A main fuse is installed for protection of circuit.

Cab Fuse Size and Function

From left to right the fuses protect the following circuits:

  • 20 amp. - Air conditioning system
  • 20 amp - Fan
  • 7.5 amp. - Rear wiper and radio
  • 7.5 amp. - Windshield wiper and washer
  • 10 amp. - Cab lighting and beacon light
  • 10 amp. - Front work lights
  • 10 amp. - Rear work lights
  • 7.5 amp. - Not used

The cab fuses are located in the cab roof on the left-hand side.
