Attach Implements to Three-Point Hitch

LV734
LV734-UN-25JUN94

  1. Be sure drawbar will not interfere with implement. If necessary, move drawbar ahead, or remove it. Check for any other potential interference points.

  2. CAUTION: Do not stand between tractor and implement unless the parking brake is applied firmly.

CAUTION: Prevent unexpected movement of hitch by placing draft sensing lever in the forward or OFF position before attaching implement to hitch.

IMPORTANT: When attaching three-point hitch mounted or drawn implements for the first time, conduct a trial to ensure that implement will not damage cab in any position. With hitch-mounted implements, pay attention to the highest lift position; with drawn implements, be careful when turning sharply.

Back tractor up to implement (A) so hitch points (B) align. Place transmission levers in neutral, engage park brake and stop engine BEFORE leaving the tractor seat.

  3. To remove center link from transport hook, lift center link locking rod (A).

  4. Attach center link to implement top mast.

  5. Adjust center link and lift links as necessary. See Level the Hitch in this Section.

  6. CAUTION: To avoid bodily injury or machine damage whenever an implement, implement quick coupler, or other attachment is connected to the tractor three-point hitch, check full range of operation for interference, binding or PTO separation.
