Check Transmission/Hydraulic System Oil Level

IMPORTANT: Check oil level when oil is cold. If possible, check the oil level in the morning after the tractor has been standing overnight.

1. Park tractor so that it is level.

2. Apply park brake (transmission in neutral).

3. Lower draft links and front-mounted implements.

4. Remove dipstick (A) and wipe clean. Fully insert dipstick and remove again. Oil level should be between full mark and end of dipstick.

5. Add specified oil at (A) if level is low, see section Fuel, Lubricants, Hydraulic Oil and Coolant.

   If using implements that require a greater quantity of oil in the hydraulic circuit, the oil level must be up to mark ”XXX”.
