A - Rate-Of-Drop Adjusting Knob

B - Sensitivity Aadjusting Knob

Hitch drops faster when a heavy implement is attached. Adjust rate-of-drop so that it is slow enough to be safe and prevent implement damage.

Turn rate-of-drop adjusting knob (A) clockwise to slow down hitch drop; turned all the way to the stop corresponds to lock of hitch (for example for transport). Turn counterclockwise to increase rate-of-drop.

Adjust the Sensitivity

Turn hitch sensitivity adjusting knob (B) clockwise to increase the sensitivity of hitch. Turn counterclockwise to reduce sensitivity.

This adjustment is in addition to the different positioning of center link (see Positioning Center Link in this Section).

In some specific cases the high sensitivity of the hitch may involve vibrations.

To eliminate vibrations, turn knob (B) progressively counterclockwise.
