The brakes are hydraulically operated by an independent circuit having a separate oil reservoir.

If oil level is low, disconnect connector (B), remove cap (A) and add John Deere low viscosity Hy-Gard JD20D or 10W20 mineral oil.

With key switch ON, the indicator light (C) will light up when the oil level in the brake system is low.

To check electrical system, press on the top of the cap; indicator light (C) must light up.

Check also for leaks in case of low oil level.
