Check Oil Levels of Front Wheel Drive Axle

    Turn wheel until OIL LEVEL mark (B) on final drives (both sides) is horizontal.


  2. Remove level plugs (C). Oil should be level with plug bore.

  3. If level is low, add specified oil. See Section 80 Fuel, Lubricants, Hydraulic Oil and Coolant.

  4. Re-install level plugs (C) and tighten to 60 N˙m (44 lb-ft).

NOTE: Change oil in axle housing and final drives after the first 100 hours of operation. Then replace after every 1500 hours of operation or once every 2 years, whichever occurs first.
