Change Oil in Front-Wheel Drive Axle Housing

1. Remove drain plug (A) and drain oil into a suitable container.

2. Re-install drain plug (A) and tighten to 70 N˙m (52 lb-ft).

3. Remove oil level/filler plug (B).

4. Refill with John Deere Hy-Gard™, see Section Fuel, Lubricants and Coolant. Oil should be level with plug bore.

5. Re-install plug (B) and tighten to 70 N˙m (52 lb-ft).
