Front axle with front-wheel drive

The tractor must be ready for operation when the steering angle is adjusted. Tires, fenders, implements and different types of ballast are factors that affect each tractor differently.

Steering angle must be the same on both sides.

CAUTION: The engine must be shut off when the adjustment is made. RISK OF CRUSHING!

  1. Lift front of tractor until the front axle can swing to its limits.

  2. Support the tractor safely.

  3. Move the right side of the axle upwards until it reaches the stop.

  4. Turn the steering to full lock in both directions.

  5. If necessary, loosen lock nut (B) and adjust steering angle as per specification using screw (A).

  6. Tighten lock nut to specified torque.

  7. Repeat this procedure on the left side.
