Use the Hitch Position Control

PULX001011-UN-07AUG08
CAUTION: To prevent unexpected movement of hitch, move draft
control lever (B) to full forward position before attaching an implement.
Move draft control lever (B) forward when you DO NOT want hitch
to adjust automatically to draft load, such as attaching implement
to tractor.
Use position control lever (A) to control the three-point hitch
position. Position control should be used for transporting implements
and end-of-field operations.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to raise implement too far, as this
may cause damage to the rear part of the tractor.
CAUTION: To avoid unintentional lowering of the implement during
transport, use stop (C) to lock position control lever (A).
During transport and when hitch is not in use, push draft control
lever (B) all the way forward.
CONSTANT DEPTH of implements on level terrain and for non-ground
engaging implements such as spreaders or sprayers. Place position
control lever (A) at desired depth.
FLOAT operation for implements with skids or depth gauge wheels
designed to carry full implement weight. Push both levers (A) and
(B) all the way forward so implement can follow the ground contour.

POSITION CONTROL LEVER STOP
For convenience, set adjustable depth. Operate implement a few
minutes to determine proper height, then unscrew ring nut (D). Move
stop up against lever, and lock stop in position by tightening ring
nut (D). Hitch will then lower to same position each time lever is
pushed forward to stop.
