Multi-Function Lever (Electrical)

LX1045797-UN-22DEC10

LX1046217-UN-22JUN11
1 - Button for Transport Lock, SCVs I to IV
2 - Button for Transport Lock, SCVs XI to XIII (Multi-Function
Lever)
A - Multi-Function Lever
B - Rocker Switch, 3rd Function
C - Interlock Switch Actuator
D - Switch, 4th Function
E - Switch, 5th Function
IMPORTANT: Before operating a front loader, make sure that none
of the detent positions have programmed time limits. For this, front-loader operation must be selected. See Additional Functions for Electronic Selective Control
Valves in this Section.
IMPORTANT: The multi-function lever and the SCVs must be locked
when the tractor is driven on public roads.
Multi-function lever (A) permits two SCVs to be operated at
the same time. By means of rocker switch (B) an additional SCV can
be operated (3rd function).
Switches (D) and (E) allow other functions.
Interlock switch actuator (C) prevents accidental actuation
of the multi-function lever. The lever can operate only when the actuator
is open (the operator's hand must hold it open). If the loader does
not respond after the hand has been placed in the interlock switch
actuator, it is possible that the lever was not in the center detent
position when the actuator was opened. Move the lever back to the
center detent position to activate the system.
If the lever is held in neutral position for longer than 10
minutes, the hydraulic functions are locked out. To overcome this
lock-out, take your hand out of the actuator and re-insert hand. In
case of malfunctions (e.g. part of system not working or operating
error) the system can also be reactivated completely or partly by
the procedure above.
Pulling lever (A) back raises the front loader. Pushing the
lever forward until resistance is reached lowers the front loader.
If the lever is pushed forward beyond the resistance, it engages in
a detent and the front loader is in its float position.
Moving the lever to the left makes the loader bucket tip up.
Moving the lever to the right until resistance is reached makes the
loader bucket dump.
If the lever is moved to the right beyond the resistance twice
in quick succession and held there, the loader bucket will vibrate.
NOTE: In cold weather, there may be brief periods when the loader
does not operate. If temperature drops below 0°C (32°F), the
stepper motors of the telescopic arm/bucket/grab valves operate more
slowly. At temperatures below -25°C (-13°F), they stop working
altogether. Operate several front loader functions to warm up the
system.
Multi-function lever functions

LX1054684-UN-08MAY12
IMPORTANT: The return-to-position function can be stopped by
moving the multi-function lever briefly in the opposite direction.
Example: Stop the boom while it is moving downward = Move the multi-function
lever to the rear (A).
|
A
|
Pull the multi-function lever back until the boom is raised
to the desired height. Do not move the lever beyond the point of resistance.
|
|
B *
|
Pull the multi-function lever back until it is beyond the point of perceptible resistance, then release it.
This initiates the return-to-position function for the top position.
The boom stops automatically at the preset top position.
|
|
C
|
Move the multi-function lever to the left until the bucket reaches
the desired top position. Do not move the lever beyond the point of
resistance.
|
|
D *
|
Move the multi-function lever to the left until it is beyond the point of perceptible resistance, then
release it. This initiates the return-to-position function for the
top position. The bucket stops automatically at the preset position.
|
|
E
|
Push the multi-function lever forward until the boom is lowered
to the desired height. Do not move the lever beyond the point of resistance.
|
|
F *
|
Push the multi-function lever forward until it is beyond the point of perceptible resistance, then
release it. This initiates the return-to-position function for the
bottom position. The boom stops automatically at the preset bottom
position.
|
|
G
|
Push the multi-function lever all the way forward and engage
in detent to activate the float position. The lever remains in the
detent until it is pulled back by hand.
|
|
H
|
Move the multi-function lever to the right until the bucket
reaches the desired bottom position. Do not move the lever beyond
the point of resistance.
|
|
I
|
Move the multi-function lever to the right until it is beyond the point of perceptible resistance, then
release it. This initiates the return-to-position function for the
bottom position. The bucket stops automatically at the preset position.
Move the multi-function lever to the right twice in brief succession
beyond the point of resistance and hold it there. This activates the
bucket shake function.
|
|
*
|
Only if used with a front loader equipped with return-to-position
function.
