Service

The power generation system requires NO service work. However, certain general rules must be complied with; see “General Instructions Regarding the Condition of the Tractor” in Section 85.

CAUTION: Before doing any service work, switch off the engine. All repair jobs on the power generation system must be carried out by a John Deere™ dealer.

1. All electrical components must be examined visually at least once a year in parallel with regular servicing of the tractor. Look out for damage of any type, and make sure that the ground connections are in good condition.
2. Check that the cap on the socket closes and locks properly.
3. Check that the connector and socket are clean before connecting.
