NOTE: 1 - Alert Advice, limited function - Function not ready to be executed (e.g. rear hitch blocked).

Alert Advice appears if the function is not in a condition to be performed and iTEC is passive (programmed, but not executed).

NOTE: 2 - Alert Fault, function cannot be performed and/or some conditions may apply to a diagnostic trouble code for this function (e.g. faulty gear-shift switch).

Alert 2 Fault is always displayed when the function is not performed in execution mode, regardless of cause.

NOTE: Use softkey (D) to access the iTEC status page and show the cause of the alert. See also iTEC - Status Page in this Section.

Description

Remedy

Differential lock

Differential lock cannot be engaged, ground speed too high.

Reduce your ground speed.

Set ground speed

Current set speed < 0.8 km/h

Increase ground speed.

FieldCruise

Access Manager has FieldCruise locked.

Have an authorized person unlock FieldCruise in Access Manager.

Rear hitch

Rear hitch locked.

Unlock rear hitch.

PTO

Switch is not in the ON position.

Engage PTO.

PAPTOS only: PTO in neutral

Select PTO speed.

Selective control valve

Selective control valve locked.

Unlock selective control valve.

Make sure SCV lever is not in neutral position.

Unlock SCV lever and move it to neutral position.

Selective control valve in wrong mode (e.g. front-loader/front-hitch mode)

On the SCV-setting page, change SCVs to SCV mode.

MAX 20

Recording ended, because maximum number of functions has been learned.

 

WHEEL SPEED LOW

Functions can no longer be performed because ground speed is below 0.5 km/h (0.31 mph).

Increase ground speed until it is over 0.5 km/h (0.31 mph).

PTO OFF TOO EARLY

PTO is switched off by iTEC earlier than learned because the rear hitch is not in its operating position.

Remedy

>100 m

Learn mode or Learn Distance cancelled, because more than 100 m were travelled during learning.

Try to finish learning in less than 100 m.

OPERATOR PRESENCE

Execution or learning mode cancelled because the operator has vacated his seat for more than 5 seconds and ground speed has fallen below 0.5 km/h (0.31 mph).

Return to operator's seat and drive faster than 0.5 km/h (0.31 mph) to start execution of a sequence or start the learning process.

ENGINE SPEED

Execution or learning mode cancelled because engine speed is not in valid range.

Bring engine speed back within the 850 to 2100 rpm range.

PARK

Execution cancelled because the transmission is in Park.

Move out of Park position and increase speed above 0.5 km/h (0.31 mph) to execute a sequence.

SEQUENCE SWITCH

Execution or learning mode cancelled because the operator has pressed the sequence switch and thus interrupted this sequence or the sequence switch is faulty.

If the text message does not disappear within five seconds, see your John Deere dealer.

TIMEOUT

Execution or learning mode cancelled because the time limit (60 seconds) has been exceeded.

Try to complete execution of a sequence or learning process within the 60-second time limit.
