Press button (1) and access the CommandCenter™ menu. Select softkey (2) or use the thumb wheel to access the suspension page. On the suspension page, various cab suspension modes may be selected.

Use hot keys (D), (E) and (I) for direct selection of cab suspension modes AUTO Soft (3), AUTO Medium (4) and MAX (5); the relevant checkbox is activated in the CommandCenter™.

When moving the reverse drive lever from position N to position R or F, the level control of the cab suspension system becomes active. The control system moves the cab suspension slightly towards the mid-position. When reaching a speed of 0.5 km/h (0.3 mph), the control systems starts to move the suspension to mid-position.

Auto soft setting (3)

When AUTO Soft is selected, setting of basic damping is 0%. This means that the cab is fully suspended but this setting reduces the resistance to swaying of the cab when driving.

Auto medium setting (4)

When AUTO Medium is selected, the factory setting is activated. This means 50% basic dampening, but the setting can be changed individually to a value between 30% and 70%. When reprogramming the control unit, the individual setting gets lost and the factory setting (50% basic damping) is restored.

MAX setting (5)

When MAX is selected, the suspension is set to maximum hardness (100% basic damping). This setting can be used for working with a front loader, for example, to minimize "pitching" of the cab.

The system is set for permanent maximum damping. There is less comfort as compared to the two Auto settings. As the ground speed rises above 20 km/h (12.5 mph), the basic damping is adapted to meet the AUTO Medium setting (factory setting or individual setting). At a speed below 15 km/h (9.5 mph), the basic damping automatically returns to MAX (100%).
