   For some series/tread widths, a changeover from Category 3 to Category 3N is necessary.

   Telescopic draft links can be adjusted for Categories 3 or 3N. Where possible, use Category 3, particularly with heavy loads.

2. Remove wear plates (A) and (B) and install them as shown for the desired Category.

   IMPORTANT: Depending on Category and tractor model, different wear plates and shims must be installed in order to avoid damage to the implement. See Installation Kits BL15525, BL15526 and BL15376.

3. Adjust the draft links to the required spreading dimension and use shims as appropriate. See "Draft Links — Adjust Spreading Dimension" in this section.

   NOTE: When the "DeLuxe" quick coupler is used in Category 3N, the spreading dimension must be set to 900 mm.

4. Always install screws and nuts as shown and tighten them to 250 N•m (185 lb.-ft.).

   NOTE: Nuts must always be installed with the chamfer nearest to the wear plate.
