The operator can change Bass (B), Treble (C), Middle (D), Balance (E), and Fade 1 (F) on Audio Settings page 1. Traffic Announcements (H), Alternative Frequencies (G) and Volume Compensation (I) are located on Audio Settings page 2. Traffic Announcement is the RDS function that interrupts audio to give operator information on important traffic information. To enable Traffic Announcement, select the Alternative Frequencies check box or softkey (G) first. This will enable the Traffic Announcement option. Select the Traffic Announcement check box or softkey (H) to turn on Traffic Announcement. Traffic Announcement are shown in the FM Home Page. Alternative Frequency is an RDS function that allows the operator to stay tuned to a program if the frequency changes. Volume compensation automatically adjusts the radio's volume based on external noise. To enable/disable volume compensation select the volume compensation check box (I). Volume sensitivity can be adjusted to low, medium, or high.

1 Operator can change Fade only if system is equipped with four speakers.
