Pre-Start Checks

  • Walk around the machine and check for damage, loose hardware, and damaged components, including hydraulic leaks.
  • Verify that both manual shut-off ball valves on the hydraulic tank are open.
  • Unlock the cab and all compartments secured by locks.
  • Perform 8-hour routine maintenance as detailed in Section 3-4.
  • Verify that the Master Disconnect Switch is ON.
  • Close cab door.

IMPORTANT: Before operating the machine, verify that both manual shut-off ball valves on the hydraulic tank are open. There are two manual shut-off ball valves located on the main supply lines under the hydraulic tank. The

handles should be in-line with the hoses.

Operating the machine with the ball valves closed can lead to equipment damage.
