Storage
Repair worn or damaged parts. Install new parts, if necessary, to avoid needless delays later.
Clean primary air cleaner element.
Wash the machine. Paint areas to prevent rust. Replace decals, where needed.
IMPORTANT:
High pressure washing, greater than 1379 kPa (200 psi) can damage freshly painted finishes. Paint should be allowed to air dry for 30 days minimum after receipt of machine before cleaning parts or machine with high pressure. Use low pressure wash operations until 30 days have elapsed.
Remove seat cushion and other perishable items.
Retract all hydraulic cylinders, if possible. If not, coat exposed cylinder rods with LPS 3 Rust Inhibitor.
IMPORTANT:
LPS 3 Rust Inhibitor can destroy painted finish. DO NOT spray LPS 3 Rust Inhibitor on painted surfaces.
Lubricate all grease points.
If possible, rest the Log Loader on a hard surface. Retract the stabilizers and lower the loader booms to the ground.
Store machine in a dry, protected place. If stored outside, cover with a waterproof material.
