1.
Move the throttle lever to Low Idle position.

Press the horn override and lamp test button.

3.
Turn the ignition key switch to START position to engage starter and crank the engine. Do not hold the switch in the START position for more than 15 seconds. If engine starts, proceed to step 4. If engine fails to start wait 3 to 5 minutes before attempting to start the engine again.
4.
Release the override button when the engine starts.
5.
Check the gauges on the instrument panel frequently.
