Cold Weather Starting - Below 0°C (32 °F)
NOTE:
If the temperature is below 0°C (32°F), use the block heater.

Follow the normal starting procedure. When the engine starts, move the throttle lever to just off idle position and allow the engine to idle until coolant temperature begins to rise.

Check gauges. Engine oil pressure should rise within 15 seconds. If the oil pressure does not register normal after 15 seconds, shut the engine OFF immediately to prevent damage.
3.
Operate at low loads until all hydraulic systems are at normal operating temperatures 49° - 71°C (120 ° - 160°F). Check the gauges frequently during warm-up.
