Stopping Procedure
1.
Machine should be parked on level ground with the felling head positioned on the ground.
NOTE:
In winter conditions, position head tilted and resting on the ground. This will prevent saw blade from freezing to the ground.
2.
Move the throttle lever to IDLE position.
3.
Allow the engine to operate at idle position for 3 minutes. This allows the heat of a full load operation to be dissipated gradually, allows turbo speed to reduce, prevents loss of coolant by after-boil and possible hot spot damage to engine.
IMPORTANT:
Do not race engine before shut-off.
