Forward movement is obtained by pushing down on both pedals at the same time with your toes.

Reverse movement is obtained by pushing down on both pedals at the same time with your heels.

To steer right, press forward with toe on left pedal.

To steer left, press forward with toe on right pedal.

Turning the machine on the spot is done by pushing down on one pedal with your toe while pushing down on the other pedal with your heel.
