Operate Safely

1. Keep all curtains and shields in place.

2. Never hand feed material into the machine.

3. Do not lean against or sit or stand on the cutterbar curtains or their supporting framework.

4. Regularly check that disk and knife bolts are tight; also verify that tines are securely mounted on rotor.

5. Always operate the machine at rated speed.

6. Drive slowly over rough ground.

7. Avoid holes when operating on hillsides. Tractor rollover could result. It is requested that the mower-conditioner be used only with tractors having an operator enclosure.

8. Provide sufficient weight to stabilize the tractor when operating on hilly land or under other adverse conditions. See your tractor operator's manual.

9. Lower mower-conditioner to the ground when leaving it and tractor unattended.

10. Always apply parking brake before detaching from tractor.
