Daily Checks
 CAUTION:
To avoid bodily injury, disengage PTO, shut off tractor engine and remove key before starting prechecks.
Inspect and service machine before starting work each day

Check knives: reverse or replace if knives are blunt (See "Checking Knife Wear" in "Service" section).

Check for any loose bolts and missing hardware.

Check rotor for missing tines. Check tines for wear and replace bolts as necessary.

Check that safety shields and curtains are in place and in good condition.

Lubricate mower-conditioner.

Clean machine of any foreign objects.

Check gearboxes and cutterbar for any signs of oil leaks.
