Adjusting Lower Crop Shields

1. NOTE: Lower crop shields are located at left and right-hand ends. Right-hand end shown, left-hand end similar.

   Raise front platform doors.

   A - Lower Crop Shield

   B - Clearance

   C - Clearance

   Loosen mounting hardware on lower crop shield (A).

3. Position crop shield to obtain clearances, within specifications, at the following locations:

   Item	Measurement	Specification
   Bottom of shield to Accelerator	Clearance	5—8 mm (3/16—5/16 in.)
   End of Shield to Converging Drum	Clearance	2—4 mm (3/32—5/32 in.)

   • Bottom of shield to top of accelerator (B)
   • End of shield to converging drum (C)
   
   

4. Tighten mounting hardware.

5. Lower front platform doors.
