Bleeding Platform Lift Circuit

This procedure is necessary when left-hand cylinder is setting down on cylinder lock and right-hand cylinder is fully extended. If left-hand side of machine does not raise up, bleed oil from right-hand cylinder according to following instructions.

Escaping fluid under pressure can penetrate the skin causing serious injury. Avoid the hazard by relieving pressure before disconnecting hydraulic or other lines. Tighten all connections before applying pressure. Search for leaks with a piece of cardboard. Protect hands and body from high pressure fluids.

If an accident occurs, see a doctor immediately. Any fluid injected into the skin must be surgically removed within a few hours or gangrene may result.   1. Engage right-hand cylinder lock.

  2. Wrap a rag around right-hand cylinder fitting.

  3. Loosen fitting and release oil until right-hand cylinder rests on cylinder lock.

  4. Tighten fitting.

  5. Raise platform and disengage cylinder locks.

  6. Lower platform.
