Sharpening Net Wrap Knife
NOTE:
Sharpen knife when strings of net wrap material or patches of net wrap extend from the knife to gate roll, rubber roll wraps with net, or when knife does not cut the net wrap material.
CAUTION:
Knife is sharp. Wear gloves when handling knife.
1.
Remove knife. (See REMOVING AND INSTALLING KNIFE in this section.)
2.
Clamp knife in vise.
3.
Using a piece of paper, check knife for sharpness.

Apply even pressure and drag paper down edge of knife.

Start cut at edge of paper.

If knife produces a dull cut, as illustrated, knife edge will need sharpened.
