Install Wheel Spindles on 558 Baler with MegaWide™ Plus Pickup and 31 x 13.5-15 Tires
NOTE:
Wheel spindles and tires are factory installed in the normal position on 458 and 458 Silage Special baler with MegaWide™ Plus pickup.
NOTE:
Wheel spindle position controls baler height and feeding capacity.
IMPORTANT:
When raising baler with a jack or hoist, place a jackstand or equivalent support under baler frame (J) before installing spindles and tires. Avoid placing jackstand under MegaWide™ Plus pickup frame.
1.
Park baler on level surface and chock wheels.
2.
Using a jack or hoist, raise one side of baler. Place a jackstand or equivalent support under baler frame at location (J).
3.
Install spacer plate (G) on frame with two M16 x 150 cap screws (B) and nuts (A).

Install spindle with hub offset (D) down. Fasten with two M16 cap screws (I), four 17 x 34 x 4 mm washers (F), and nuts (C) as follows:

Install two M16 cap screws (H) through spacer plate (G) and notch in spindle. Install four 17 x 34 x 4 mm washers (F) and two M16 nuts (E).

Use two M16 x 80-8.8 cap screws (H) and four washers (F).
