Checking Gate Lock Valve Interlock Lever Adjustment

IMPORTANT: Before operating baler, make sure gate lock lever is in the UNLOCKED position and that gate lock lever cannot be moved into locked position when gate interlock lever is contacting closed gate. Forming bales with gate lock lever in locked position will damage baler.

Interlock lever (B) prevents gate lock valve lever (A) from being moved into the "locked" position with gate closed.

1. Close gate completely, shut off tractor engine and remove key.

2. Rotate interlock lever (B) until it contacts the gate.

3. Move gate lock lever (A) to the locked position. If lever cannot be moved to locked position, no adjustment is needed.

4. If lever can be moved to locked position, loosen gate lock valve assembly mounting cap screws (C) and move gate lock valve assembly toward the gate. Distance between gate and end of interlock lever should be within specifications.
