Adjust. (See ADJUST BALE RAMP in Operating the Baler section.)
Bale sticks in chamber.
Make several bales out of dry hay to polish sidesheets. Do not crowd ends so finished bale has soft ends.

Remove buildup. Be sure that gate deflectors are installed in gate.
Bale ramp-to-gate timing needs adjustment.
Bale will not roll back far enough.
Raise baler or remove bale ramp. (See WHEEL SPINDLE POSITIONS in Preparing the Baler section.)
Bale ramp moves up too soon.
Adjust by turning valve inward. (See ADJUST BALE RAMP in Operating the Baler section.)
Gate lock valve not fully unlocked.
Be sure that snap ring on gate lock spool is against valve housing.
Bale ramp does not tilt.
Bale ramp requires 15 169 kPa (151.7 bar) (2200 psi) minimum hydraulic pressure.
Regulator valve adjusted incorrectly.
Open valve 1/4 turn and try operating bale ramp again. (See ADJUST BALE RAMP in Operating the Baler section.)
