Adjust Oversize Bale Switch

1. CAUTION:

   Make sure that gate is locked. If gate is not locked while performing this procedure, the gate could close suddenly causing injury or death.

   B - Screw

   C - Washers

   Raise gate until roller on bale size switch arm is centered over washers (C).

2. Loosen screws (B) and adjust switch to obtain a gap (A) between switch arm and body to specifications.

3. Turn tractor key to ON position. Do not start tractor engine.

4. Turn monitor-controller ON. Bale size alarm (in tractor) must be activated when switch is at this position. If not, repeat Step 2 and decrease gap (A) dimension.

5. Raise gate fully using tractor hydraulics (tension arm must be raised), then lock gate.

   Manually push sliding link (A) forward until bale size switch roller is centered over washers (B).

7. Bale size alarm (in tractor) must activate when switch is at this position. If not, repeat Step 2 and decrease gap.

8. Lower gate.

9. Turn monitor-controller OFF. Turn tractor key to OFF position. Remove key.

10. Adjust bale size link for maximum bale size. (See ADJUST BALE SIZE LINK FOR MAXIMUM BALE SIZE in this section.)
