Break-In Baler

IMPORTANT: Belts and drive loads increase as the bale size approaches maximum diameter. Frequent forming of oversize bales can lead to premature failures.

A break-in period of approximately 50 bales or until paint inside bale chamber has worn off can increase the life and reduce maintenance of baler. During the break-in period, a smaller and lower density bale is recommended.

Baler is preset at factory. Bale density knob on tension valve has been turned counterclockwise two turns from maximum.

BaleTrak™ Pro system is preset at factory. Monitor-controller setting for bale diameter is 1.6 m (66 in.).

Before operation, lubricate members of driveline liberally.

IMPORTANT: If slippage occurs during action on slip clutch, disengage PTO and reengage at low idle until slip clutch reengages, then operate at rated PTO speed.

Fraying of belts is possible. Cut the wires if necessary.
