Tire Installation and Wheel Nut Torque

Machines with 14L x 16.1 tires.

IMPORTANT: Install wheels with valve stems toward the outside. Incorrect assembly can cause wheel nuts to loosen.

Whenever a wheel has been removed and installed, check wheel nut torque after one hour of operation and repeat until nuts maintain specified torque.

  1. Install wheel with valve stem toward the outside. Fasten with six 1/2 in. nuts.

  2. Whenever a wheel has been removed and installed, check wheel nut torque after one hour of operation and repeat until nuts maintain specified torque. Wheel nuts must be tightened to specifications.

  3. Verify tire inflation pressure.

IMPORTANT: Install wheels with valve stems toward the OUTSIDE. Incorrect assembly can cause wheel nuts to loosen.

Exceeding recommended tire pressure can damage baler frame.

Whenever a wheel has been removed and installed, check wheel nut torque after one hour of operation and repeat until nuts maintain specified torque.

  1. Install wheel with valve stem toward the outside. Fasten with eight 5/8 in. nuts.

  2. Whenever a wheel has been removed and installed, check wheel nut torque after one hour of operation and repeat until nuts maintain specified torque. Wheel nuts must be tightened to specifications.
