Prepare Baler for Transport

CAUTION: To avoid injury to others, transport baler with bale
chamber empty.
Empty bale chamber before transporting.

Close gate.

Raise pickup fully.

Raise gathering wheels, if equipped.

Prevent collisions between other road users, slow moving
tractors with attachments or towed equipment, and self-propelled machines
on public roads. Frequently check for traffic from the rear, especially
in turns, and use hand signals or turn signal lights.Use headlights, flashing warning lights, and turn signals day and
night. Follow local regulations for equipment lighting and marking.
Keep lighting and marking visible and in good working order. Replace
or repair lighting and marking that has been damaged or lost.

D - Reflectors
Be sure SMV emblem (C), turn or warning lights (A), tail
lights (B) and reflectors (D) are clean and visible. Make sure that
baler turn or warning lights operate with tractor warning lights and
turn signals.

CAUTION: If baler separates from the drawbar, a safety chain
(A) will help control drawn equipment. Using the appropriate adapter
parts, attach the chain (A) to the tractor drawbar support or other
specified anchor location. Provide only enough slack in the chain
to permit turning. Do not use safety chain for towing.

If transporting machine behind a tractor without connecting
PTO driveline, remove PTO driveline. Transport parts in another vehicle
to prevent possible loss, damage, and contamination to driveline.
