Operation of Drive Roll Slip Clutch (MegaWide™ Plus and
MegaTooth™ Pickups Only)
When the pickup is plugged with too much crop or a foreign object,
the drive roll clutch will slip. The purpose of the slip clutch is
to prevent damage to baler pickup.
-
Slip clutch will only reengage if the PTO is stopped or tractor
rpm is reduced to idle speed.
-
Disengage PTO, shut off tractor, and remove key. Remove crop
or foreign object.
NOTE: Excessive clutch slipping, will reduce clutch life.
