Battery(s)

The 12 volt battery(s) are located on the left side of the W110 windrower and the right side, cab-forward, of the W150.

Raise the engine hood of the W110 to access the batteries. They are located on the left side of the engine compartment.

To access battery(s) on the W150 windrower, move the right side platform, cab-forward, to service position.

CAUTION: Battery gas can explode. Keep sparks and flames away from battery. Use a flashlight to check battery electrolyte level.

Never check battery charge by placing a metal object across the posts. Use a voltmeter or hydrometer.

Reduce the possibility of an electrical spark when disconnecting battery(s) by:

  • Ensuring key switch and all accessories are turned off.
  • Turn the master disconnect to OFF before servicing battery(s) or electrical components.
  • Disconnecting negative (-) battery cable first and connecting it last.

IMPORTANT: Always disconnect the negative terminal THEN the positive terminal before working on the electrical system or welding on the machine. These terminals are identified by: Black and (-) for Negative with Red and (+) designated for Positive.
