Caster Wheel Anti-Shimmy Bolts

E63275-UN-20APR12
A - Inboard Dampener Bolts (1 each side)
B - Outboard Dampener Bolts (1 each side)
Check the torque of the caster wheel anti-shimmy dampener
bolts after 50 hours of operation.
Inboard bolt (A) at cylinder end and outboard bolt (B) at the
rod end of dampener have different torque values.
IMPORTANT: Torque values vary from inboard to outboard.
Drive Wheel Nuts

E63271-UN-19APR12
Check the torque of the drive wheel nuts every 10 hours of
operation.
Torque the nuts in a cross pattern by following a sequence as
shown in the photograph.

Drive Wheel Nuts | Torque | 300 N·m (221 lb.-ft.) |
Gearbox Oil

E63279-UN-23APR12

E63280-UN-18JUN12
A - Fill Plug
B - Drain Plug
C - Breather/Fill Cap
On the W150 windrower, change the gearbox oil after the first
50 hours of operation.
NOTE: There is no gearbox oil service necessary on the W110
windrower.
To change gearbox oil:
-
Park the windrower on firm, level ground.
-
Shut the engine off and remove the key.
-
Remove plug (A). The oil should be visible through the hole
or slightly running out.
-
Remove drain plug (C) and allow oil to drain.
-
Install drain plug (C) and fill oil through the breather cap
(B).
-
Once oil is up to or starting to run out of the check plug (A)
install the plug.
-
Operate the engine at low idle and check for leaks at the check
and drain plug.
Final Drive Oil

E63277-UN-23APR12

E63278-UN-23APR12
A - Drain/Fill Plug
B - Drain/Fill Plugs
Drain and refill the final drive oil after the initial 50
hours of operation.
-
Park the windrower on a flat level surface with the wheel being
serviced positioned so the fill/drain plug (A) is at the 6:00 position
or bottom drain position, as shown.
-
Lower platform. Turn off engine and remove key.
-
Remove plugs (A) and (B) and drain the oil. Inspect magnetic
plugs for metallic particles.
Tip: Drain the oil at the end of the
work day while warm and allow to drain overnight.
NOTE: Some particles are expected and should be considered normal.
-
IMPORTANT: Inspect plug O-ring and replace if damaged.
Rotate the wheel to bring the fill/drain plugs to the horizontal
position shown.
-
Fill final drive with clean oil until oil level is at same level
as bottom of plug (B).
Use only SAE 75W-90 API-GL5 Synthetic oil after initial break-in
period.
NOTE: Final drive oil specification below is per side.
-
Clean and install plug (B) and (A). Tighten to specification.
-
Repeat Steps on opposite final drive.
| Item | Measurement | Specification |
|
Final Drive Oil | Oil per side | 1.4 L (1.5 U.S. qt.) |
