Towing Header With Windrower
The windrower may be used to tow a header with the slow speed
transport option installed, provided the weight box option is installed
on the windrower, or an approved header transporter with weight transfer
to the lift arms.
CAUTION: It is NOT recommended to tow headers without a weight
box installed. Before each towing trip, a pre-trip inspection
must be conducted to verify that all signal lighting and safety equipment
is installed and functioning properly.
CAUTION: Tongue weight must NOT exceed 500 lbs.
IMPORTANT: Never exceed specified combined
gross vehicle weight (CGVW). See charts. Contact your Dealer if you
have any questions about the towing or operation capability of your
windrower.
