Transporting On Roadway

The construction of this implement may not meet all local or national requirements for operation on a public roadway.

In regions or countries that have national certification requirements for roadway operation, it may be impossible for this implement to be approved for such roadway operation.

The operator is responsible for understanding and complying with all local, regional and national requirements regarding roadway operation.

Before operating on a roadway:

Clean flashing amber lamps, red tail lamps and head lamps. Confirm that all lamps work correctly.

Clean all reflective surfaces and SMV sign.

Adjust and clean all windows and mirrors.

CAUTION: Check local laws for regulations and requirements before transporting on roads.

  1. Ensure that HEADER DRIVE switch (A) is pushed to OFF.

  2. Push road light switch (B) to activate lamps.

  3. Use high/low lights (C) as required when other vehicles are approaching.

  4. Push beacon switch (D) to ON to activate beacons, if equipped.

    B - Ground Speed Range Switch

    C - CDM Display

    D - Throttle Lever

    E - Engine Display

    F - Engine Display

    Set ground speed range switch (B) for road speed. CDM will display ROAD GEAR at (C).



  7. Slowly push throttle (D) to operating speed (full forward). CDM should display 2270 - 2330 RPM at (E).

  8. Slowly move the GSL (A) forward to desired speed which will be displayed at (F).

  9. If towing a header refer to Towing Header with Windrower in this Section.

CAUTION: Park on a firm, flat, level surface header on the ground, the GSL in N-DETENT and steering wheel locked.
