The following instructions are for cab forward operation with the seat facing the header direction of travel.

  1. Adjust the seat so that it is comfortable and all controls may be easily reached and moved through entire range of movement. (See Controls and Instruments Section)

  2. Steering column height adjusted and in a comfortable position. (See Controls and Instruments Section)

  3. Place GSL (A) in N-DETENT.

  4. Fasten seat belt.

  5. Sound the horn and turn the ignition key to run and start the engine.

    CAUTION: Confirm that the operating area is clear of bystanders, animals or obstructions.

  6. Set ground speed range switch (B) to appropriate position.

    W110 - 1 for field speed or 2 for road speed.

    W150 - L for field speed or H for road speed.

    CDM will display an engine status at (C).

  7. Slowly push throttle (D) to full forward (operating speed). CDM will display engine RPM at (E).

    CAUTION: Operate the steering wheel and ground speed lever (GSL) slowly for familiarization. Avoid the common tendency of new operators to over-steer.

  8. Move the GSL (A) out of N-DETENT, and slowly move it forward to desired speed which will be displayed at (F).
