Check Engine Oil Level

Check the engine oil level every 10 hours of operation.

To get an accurate read of the engine oil level make sure to allow time for the oil to drain down into the crankcase after running the engine.

  1. Before starting the engine check the engine oil level. Do not operate engine when oil level is below the low mark on dipstick.

  2. Pull the dipstick out and wipe the oil off.

  3. Insert the dipstick and make sure it seats fully into the tube.

  4. Slowly remove the dipstick and check the level. Keep engine oil level within the crosshatched area of the dipstick.

  5. Add oil, if necessary, at (B) but be careful not to overfill.

IMPORTANT: Oil level should be between Low and High.
